Beware!…Satan’s Tempting Sway
This article provides prophetic insight and warning concerning some of the subtle tactics of the enemy to deceive the church into deadly complacency and spiritual coma. (2Cor11:3)…”But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity and purity that is toward Christ”. This is a serious matter indeed.
Like in Paul’s day, the simplicity and purity of the gospel has been compromised, “corrupted”…in many places. They have either added their own philosophies, traditions and unnecessary burdens or subtracted from the boundless grace which the Cross provides. They have watered down the gospel to blend in with political “correctness”.
You can go to some churches all year round; watch some TV ministries from January to December…and never find the way to salvation! The humanist, psychological, positive-thinking breed of sophistry are on the loose! Across the nations, their “messages” are resounding with echoes of acceptance and validation from high clerical authorities…shadows of the emergent (ecumenical) platform.
Yet, a closer look reveals the hollowness, the emptiness of these neo-apostles and their messages! Their agenda has no place for the Cross. No Blood. No Redemption. They have a social gospel…a political gospel…”making the world a better place now”. In other words, they are in the process of establishing “the kingdom of God” on the earth right now. The bible teaches otherwise.
You will not hear of repentance and salvation in their altars and pulpits. Instead, what you hear these days are issues like… global warming, world peace through the United Nations, etc.
Are you interested in the purity of the gospel? Read the Gospels, the Book of Acts and you’ll find your way easily without confusion. But the simplicity has been thrown out by the lukewarm, social-gospel crowd.
Satan’s Fatal Beckonings
1 Thess3:5…”For this cause when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.” Yes, the enemy, the “tempter” has various “means” to tempt the believer away from the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. We must be vigilant and not sell our birthright for a mess of worldly porridge. The word, serpent means “fascinator”.
Indeed, Satan has “fascinated ” generations throughout history; offering open-ended attractions to sin, swaying mankind to his hell- bound broadway.
Remember there was music and beauty in him when he was created. God did not take them from him when he fell. Satan still has his “music”, pleasures, lusts and “beauty” through which he infatuates and infiltrates the human race.
From the pleasure-seeking centers of ill-fame, night clubs; to the world’s attractions of glamour (show business)…Satan unleashes his strategies as “fascinator” to win the youths and multitudes over-laden with sins…
Demon-inspired electronic games with undercover (occult) influences are invading idle minds of kids, youths and the fun-seeking crowd. The evil “fascinator” hides his silent venom in the bait! The enemy lays ambush with his cohorts for souls of the unwary. Only the Blood of Jesus scatters the evil camp. (Amen)!
Passion music and worldly entertainment might appear harmless to some in the church, but fiery satanic arrows are disguised within. The ignorant
crowd are trapped by the snares of the wicked one. Not every music is good for you!
Mt. 7:13…” for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction and many there be which go in thereat…”! The evil, sensuous, music promoting greed and unclean (sexual) lusts afflicts not only the world but also the ranks of “anything goes”, lukewarm church groups. It’s the same old serpent “tempting” the church away from her “purity”.
All these promote fornication, covetousness, rebellion and every evil work. Churches which ignore Apostle Paul’s warning fall into the snare of the enemy. It’s happening already!
Complete deliverance from satanic lustful spirits is in the Blood of the Lamb and the Name of Jesus Christ. In our revivals, we see many delivered by the power of God. Miracles are real…(amen)!
Do not get involved in these worldly attractions which lead to hell. What to do? Get into a bible-believing, church that preaches
salvation, healing and deliverance.
